The admins have been analysing the events from all the races, as we
traveled to Estoril for the opener, to Lime Rock to finally the night race of Montreal.
We have been observing the race ethic and driving characteristics of all the
drivers who competed in Season 2 of the SRCA.
We are more strict starting from this season and onwards, ensuring only the
drivers with the highest driving standards can race in a higher series.
Only the drivers with these highest driving standard will be allow a License
4 after only 1 season of the Academy. More than one season will become normal
to see drivers develop into VEC standard. This has been achieved by using a
new more strict License points system, which was tested and used in season 2.
The number of points each driver receives (per race and overall) will not be
revealed nor will the total number needed. Only whether each driver has managed
to gather enough to achieve a license 4. Ensuring only the type of drivers
which Simracing.club's higher series wishes to see race, get a license 4
(whether they race 2 or 3 races).
These results are final and effective immediately. If you feel you have been
placed wrongly please feel free to prove us wrong by racing the best you can,
these strict rules are for the benefit of all the drivers. It is a learning
programme, please just treat it as such.
As you are all aware you currently have License 5, this only allows you
to compete in SCRA, therefore please do not apply to look for a drive in
another series until you have at least license 4.
All drivers who the admins think deserve a License 4 from Season 2 of the SRCA are:
- George Manousakis - Unavailable (Scouted by 'Simhq Motorsports', VEC Room 1, #19 LMP1)
- Gabriel Sterr
- Ethan Pattie
- Patryk Gerber - Unavailable (Scouted by 'Feeder Ragnar Simulator', VEC Room 2, #26 LMP2)
- Andreas Schroeder - Unavailable (Scouted by 'Black Hawk Racing', VEC Room 2, #82 GTLM)
The drivers who already have a License 4 are:
- Pawel Lewandowski
- Toth Zoltan
- Prawira Jalu
The drivers listed above are able to apply for a drive in a team (or a team would be
able to show interest in them) for the following series:
- VEC Room 1
- VEC Room 2
- VLMS
All drivers who the admins think deserve to remain License 5 from Season 2 of SRCA are:
- Marek Cieslak
- Aitor Sintes
- Tom Watts
- Samir Rifai
- Erwin Levasier
- Thierry Chalot
- Linus Lundvall
- Audie Devanugraha
- Daryl Russel
- Victor Gazulla
- Konrad Zerebiec
- Bert Knobs
The drivers listed above are able to race in the following series:
- SRCA
If you are License 4 now however are unable to find a team you can compete in SRCA once again.
With the SimRacing.Club Academy Facebook page being new to season 2. You can all expect more
development and change going into Season 3 and beyond as we intergrate SRCA with VEC and VLMS
more each season.
We look forward to these changes (which you can find HERE) and look forward to another great season
of the Academy with new drivers aiming to show their skills and their progression through the season.
See you in Season 3!
