The track itself will warn and penalise of white line infractions, we suggest you learn the tracks boundries BEFORE the race. Rolling start, race starts after black line marked on track map.

Stewards review

Formation lap
M. Williams doesn't lead the field field with the pit limiter on - 30 second stop and hold
B. Schroeder overtakes M. Cabral during the formation lap - 30 second stop and hold

Orange Zone: No incidents.

Reported incidents:
1874 - N. Simic forces D. Russell off track - avoidable contact - Drive through

Pit entry and exit line cuts:
None.

Track limit abuse
L. Soerensen - 6+ cuts - 30 second stop and hold
J. Rasmussen - 3+ cuts - Drive through
K. Makovkin - 6+ cuts - 30 second stop and hold

Stewards were very mild while reviewing this, so only people who just ignored the track limits got the penalties. Running a bit wide once or twice is fine, ignoring the white line is not.

Other penalties

Code 80 infraction - N. Simic did not slow down for the code 80. About 15 seconds after the call he did. Shortly later, when the code 80 was still enforced, N. Simic accelerated again. - 30 second stop and hold

Final penalty summary

M. Williams - 30 second stop and hold
B. Schroeder - 30 second stop and hold
N. Simic - 30 second stop and hold + drive through = 60 second stop and hold
L. Soerensen - 30 second stop and hold
J. Rasmussen - Drive through
K. Makovkin - 30 second stop and hold

Important note from the stewards:
You are allowed to catch up to the pack on the formation lap, only the leader has to stick to the pit limiter speed. This is why we didn't penalize everyone following M. Williams during the formation lap.

For new drivers, penalties will be applied to you by the game, roughly 10 minutes in to the next race session.

We only looked at the reported incidents (IRR's), please submit an IRR if you want to have an incident reviewed.

I have taken the decision to withdraw from the season. My pace is not up to standard and I don't want to be a liability.
rFactor 2 is still a fresh sim for me so I will spend some time to familiarize myself before I jump into serious competition.

Good luck to all those involved. I shall be watching :)

Speed is not a factor when you're racing in SRCA. As long as you make consistent lap times and do not crash into anyone, you'll be fine.

Either way, it's up to you.

If I recall what Matej said, sign ups in SRCA will reopen as drivers who have been picked up will be removed. The entry list isn't final yet, so you still have time. Just keep an eye on the sign up thread. :)

Please make my sign up spot available if there's someone out there who needs it more. As it stands now i'd probably only race at Interlagos due to limited time for practice over the next couple of weeks.
