I've just installed the tool. But can't test yet, because I'm ill and also got a dinner at restaurant today.

So, to make it work, I have to startup the simracingtool executable, then open rFactor 2 and just play the game? Or the executable auto-launch when I join the server?

Start up the tool and then start up rfactor

No - the 3h test is simply a test, but basicly i would suggest you get it tested under race conditions.
