With a series this complex we need some volunteers.
1. Skin check and skin packaging - (you need to be able to do the correct DDS and alpha levels)
2. Stewards with different responsibilities.

Skin check and packaging description.
With a series with 55 entries (not all is racing every race) it does mean that you need to keep track of all skins, veh and numberplates.
Pitgroups are mostly assigned - however some races we have new teams that needs to get a room within the 40-44 pitgroups.
You dont need to be a painter to do this - however photoshop skills are not a disadvantage.

Stewards description
We have different roles within the stewards, each round we can move around between the "jobs there"
Dont get me wrong - this is the MOST important job, but also the job that requires most work.
Each race you should estimate a good 5-6 hours of work to discuss incidents, rules and whatever comes up.

But this is very rewarding and this is the group of people i go to if we need to discuss upcoming rules etc, so if you want something to say here - this is the place to go to first.

Please apply here

This is a perfect way to "donate" to our League.

Still in need of a few stewards - come join and have a say in the future here at VEC :)
Rules etc will be discussed
As well as incident reports, its a demanding but fulfilling job.

Almost been 6 months since I asked, so about time since we have a lot of new teams. Beside looking I to IRR, protest and qualifying laps - I usually use stewards before posting any rule change. If you want to help out, if you want to be a bigger part of VEC this is a job for you.
Please review first post to apply.

That would be good, we usually divide up in classes, please apply by clicking the link in first post ;)

If you are still looking for volunteers I would be interested but can't apply because I do get an error message that I don't have permission to access the page.

With the increased team count here at VEC, we´d like to have a few more stewards to help us, we have several assignments - but the biggest task is the IRR´s

I have cleared out in-active stewards and we could use some new fresh blood - with 3 divisions there is enough to do.

Want to help? Please apply here

Does work as Steward mean fix worktimes (coordinate with others) or do you just have a time frame when to review each incident and give your opinion?
Deadline for submitting reviews are 17:00 CEST monday after the race - then stewards have about a week to review (we aim to have the reviews posted the weekend after the race). There are some more guidelines such as if your team is involved in any way you are NOT allowed to comment or vote - but thats about it.

is driver rating a defining issue in becoming a stewart? i remember in another league a stewart deiciding the most complex racing incident was rubbish at the ocational simrace.. like dirty and rubbish :p

You mean if a special rating is needed to become steward - if so, no - but we have removed stewards that didnt behave on track.
