Stewards notes

Qualifying:
2 sessions, teams does not have to participate in both, however it is recommened - to be able to use the fastest lap - the team must remain on server until the end of the session
NO leave-join, stay on server.
Driver swaps are allowed, however just as in the race, the drivers who is not in the car MUST leave the server again.

Qualifying results:
Please note that we need to tripple check them (in case you left the server before the session was over, your lap time was NOT recorded). Once 100% done we will announce it in the thread.
D1: rFactor-report
D2: rFactor-report
D3: rFactor-report

Track cuts:
- General rule is white lines apply, however curbs are the limits here:
- Dunlop chicane
- Tertre Rouge
- Both Mulsanne chicanes
- Exit of Mulsanne corner
- Exit of Arnage
- Exit of Ford chicane
As the cut track will apply, there will be NO review.

Race start guide:
The track has been edited so the actual cars will be lining up on the straight towards Porsche curves.
Race director announce START FORMATION LAP
Then go into single file and maintain a speed of 100 km/h
Leave a gap so there is room for errors, however catch up once you get closer to the start, however be very much aware of the accordian effect.
The race start will happen when you exit the final right hander in the ford chicane, leading onto the front straight

- T Hinss failed to make the grid for the start of the race, instead of waiting for the field to pass the pits, Hinss left the pit while field was passing. He then dropped into position after driving parallel with other cars on track.
Live Penalty - T Hinss - Unpredictable behaviour; SnH 60 seconds

Live Penalty - J Studenski - AC; SnH 60 seconds

59267 - D Serra chats "what do y xxxx doing"
Penalty - D Serra - Chatting; Drive through
We do not want that kind of language on our servers - as in AT ALL. On top of which, this was done in a none-chat session. You should know better!
Consider this your one time warning - if we see this again we are not the place for you.

3:55 should be managable. 100 laps looks like a lot, but who knows, someone may have had some 7 spare hours today. :D

There's probably last year's data as well.

@Jimmi Allison VEC Night is not actually night at the moment ;)

And I know I am nitpicking, but after leaving Tertre Rouge up to the first chicane, on the left part of the straight the track and the "gravel/gray bit" don't line up, and create some visual holes in the ground, which means you can see the skybox. I hope it is only visual and not physical, have not tried driving over them :)

You need to look past that, no plans is made to update this track. There were no issues with this last time we used the exact same track.

Forgot to add, night server - starts at 6:30pm, meaning it will lead into night time - that way drivers also have the experience of sunset.

IMPORTANT for those who have streamed
- Le Mans is slighty different and therefor all full race streams are cancelled, if you wish to stream, please apply by contact staff.
However we will have to say no to some, as we want to limit server usage on raceday.

Jimmi, maybe a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway: you're not talking about people actually streaming their own race while driving, but people being on the server to stream the race?

Im talking about the drivers that have had permission to stream ALL race. Not the driver stint, that is nothing i can or will decide on.
