1925 - M Fuhrmann misses his braking point going into T1, and makes contact with J Charkot at the apex, sending him into J Karimaa. Both Charkot and Karimaa lose positions.

6160 - 3 GT cars are side by side under braking for T1. At the apex, A Puoti tracks out, making contact with J Karimaa and sending him into A Schoonvliet, sending both cars off track.

6195 - A Puoti and J Karimaa are fighting under braking for T6. Puoti has a slightly late turn in, which makes Karimaa turn in while on the marbles, causing him to spin.

7059 - N Pinto attempts to pass M Fuhrmann going into T6, but loses control at the apex, making contact with Fuhrmann and sending him off track. Pinto, off pace, rejoins the racing line infront of J Karimaa, who has to evade.

242 - K Zerebiec enters pit lane to serve a stop and go penalty before taking the green flag. The Stewards feel that because he pitted before taking the green flag, he is considered as serving the penalty under code 80 conditions, which violates rule 15.1. By pitting before taking the green flag, Zerebiec was found to have gained a time advantage to his competitors. The penalty from Estoril will be reserved at the next race

569 - Entering T3, J Piccolo runs too hot, and understeers at the apex, allowing B Zwartenbol to go alongside upon exit. However, Piccolo attempts to take the normal racing line for T4, and knocks Zwartenbol off track, who loses 2 positions.

1487 - Exiting T8 and heading into T9, M Bogusz lifts partially off the throttle due to traffic ahead, and decides to brake early for T9. However, N Hillebrand is directly behind him, so when Bogusz starts slowing before the curbing of T9, Hillebrand is unable to avoid.

1933 - Entering T1, M Rizzo attempts to pass L Tortella, gets too deep and makes heavy contact with N Da Silva, who is shot into A Subiela. As Rizzo gets going T Jacobs starts to pass on his inside when Rizzo, who is unable to control his damaged car, slams into Jacobs, sending both cars around collecting S Chancellor. With the yellow flag out, T Greven passes A Vicens and does not properly slow for the yellow flag.

2494 - C Moreau goes deep under braking for T1, and attempts to avoid hitting M Brault. but loses control, doesn't lock brakes and slides into him at the apex. He tries to defend the position into T2, but being too damaged, loses control. He does not apply his brakes whilst spinning, and again makes contact with Brault. who is spun off track.

If you go for a move in a corner like that, make sure you can hit the apex. GT drivers have to be predictable but so does the overtaking car.


11810 - Entering T6, JM Cardenas Arnedo chops across the nose of C Bellini while trying to let P van Ark pass. The contact sends Arnedo wide in T6, who then tries to rejoin the racing line with Bellini on the inside, making contact and nearly sending Bellini into the wall, who loses significant time.

Please go at a speed where you can control a damaged car, or follow the grass until you reach the pitlane. Don't wiggle around on the racing line.


17031 - D van der Niet tries to go through a gap that clearly doesn't exist and makes slight contact with Alvarez. It doesn't majorly unsettle Alvarez's car. Alvarez spins on his own, Doesn't completely lock his brakes and Y Derridj couldn't avoid him. R Boswinkel ignores yellow flags and is on the outside of Derridj.
A Alvarez then moves forward again while it's not clear and hits J Whited while he's trying to avoid Alvarez.

Ok, so as the quick reader would notice is that it says Qualifying and no classes and also (private).
I really want to try this option, for now consider this a test for this round only.

Workshop update later, i just need to make sure the track cuts are ok.
Yes but what does it actually mean? All classes have their own Qualifying?

It means the following things:
  • While everyone is still actually present, driving their laps, their cars are not visible over the track surface and can therefore not hinder you on your hotlaps. Everyone is an invisible ghost to one anther, except on the garage monitor and on the linear track map in the bottom left corner of your HUD.
  • All classes qualify at the same time.
  • You now have 45 instead of 20 minutes to qualify.

Private qualy works for sure (already done series with that), but it's a shame for the players -totally no sense of immersion- and for livestream aswell i guess..
Personally i prefer to may have traffic as on a racetrack there may be traffic, have to think how to find a clean lap, and all the rest, otherwise it may look more like a "live hotlap contest" instead of a championship QL session..

I´m sorry but private Qualifying is a bad choice in my view. We are all here looking for as much realism in a sim as possible and that just doesnt make sense. I think P2 and P3 wont have that many problems in a QL at Estoril. By now we all know how to behave and not ruin someone´s lap. Please reconsider this Jimmi ;)

In sorry but that decision is already made.
And if i see one incident from qualifying it probably will stay like this.
There will be no livestream as the first hour is already taking it toll on our commentators. 6 hours is already a long time.

Instead of complaining before you actually try it - try it and then give feedback afterwards.

Estoril is THE worst track on the schedule for traffic so a statement that it won’t be as bad as it has been is wrong ;)

Again - now we are trying it - period ;) this does not mean we will have to use it.

One the cons is of course that the immersion goes a bit away. And that was a big thing for me to convince myself about before trying this.

Private Q session? Thats something in real life racing is not to use, it has a reason... If we use it okay but i think it not better like the "old" system... Traffic is part of qualy, it only need a good timming... But the crew makes the decision, I only give my opinion
