With the amount of signups, we´ve been forced to take another approach.
Instead of the traditional PreQ - VEC will use another approach for the upcoming season.
PreQ will be held in 2 sessions:
1. LM-P1 and LM-P2
2. GTE-Pro and GTE-Am
Both sessions will be aprox. 1 hour (maybe reduced to 55 minutes) and any driver of the car (registered to the car) will be allowed to PreQ the car.
There will NOT be allowed more than 1 car of each entry on track. However you are allowed to make a normal driver swap if your team wants more than 1 driver q´ing.
The position your driver has Q´ed the car in, will be the starting spot of the car - no matter what registered driver of the car will start the race. We are doing this to mirror the real life rules, and also to accommodate teams, as everyone cant be avalible to PreQ.
The Q session will held at 17:00 CET (P1 and P2) and 18:00 CET (GTE-Pro and Am) - pushing the shakedown test back at 19:00 CET (+/- a couple of minutes).
Top 10 from each class (or 20 from Proto and GTE) will be allowed to race the shakedown AND the actual race.
Rules will be updated soon.
