For your information: The rules have been updated between season 9 and season 10.

This was done to ensure that they include every current SRCA regulation and to make them easier to see through.
So if you joined before Season 10 you should give them another read through.
There shouldn't be huge changes but some rules are a bit different and not knowing them doesn't help avoiding a penalty ;)
 
3.2.8 has been changed since there are obviously people abusing it. They seem to think 56kph during the formation lap with an incident in front is enough to accuse a driver of "dropping out of place" and they happily claim their position.
Apparently sportsmanship is not a thing anymore, what a pity.

old version: "3.2.8 Drivers who drop out of place during the formation lap have to safely blend in with the field or wait for it to go pass. They are not allowed to retake their starting position."

new version:
"3.2.8 Drivers who drop out of place during the formation lap by spinning, stopping or almost stopping for no apparent reason have to safely blend in with the field or wait for it to go pass. They are not allowed to retake their starting position. In case of the concertina effect and/or the whole field slowing down for safety reasons the positions prior to the incident may be retaken."

changes are effective immediately.
 
3.3.1 has been changed to display the new starting procedure.

old version: 3.3.1 The race starts at some point (usually a straight) during the formation lap through a signal from the race director.

new version: 3.3.1 The race starts after a predetermined corner. Every driver may accelerate individually after having passed the apex of that corner. The starting corner will be determined in the race post for each event.

15.4 has been changed

old version: 15.4 Drivers are encouraged to submit an Incident Review Request within 3 days of the race. Stewards will not review the complete race.

new version:
15.4 Drivers are encouraged to submit an Incident Review Request within 2 days of the race. Stewards will not review the complete race.

This allows me to do the stewarding post on saturday instead of sunday afternoon since I have to work most sundays.

For the final race of season 13 the old version will be used

Rule changes for Season 14

old versions:
1.5 There is one driver allowed in each car.
4.2 Cars being lapped (blue-flag) must give up their position within 4 corners or risk penalty.
5.1.1 Drivers getting shown a blue flag must let the faster car pass within 4 corners of the blue flag being shown. At certain tracks a series of corners in short succession may be designated as one corner for the purpose of observing this rule

12.5 In order to be eligible for license 4 a driver must complete at least 2 races in one season of SRCA.

1.5 There is one driver allowed in each car. Drivers will swap between both classes in the middle of the season to ensure that they know how to behave in the faster aswell as in the slower class.
4.2 Being lapped (blue flag)

A driver in the slower class that is lapped by a driver in the faster class should not actively let the faster car pass but he should be predictable and keep his racing line in order to allow the faster class to pass him.

1.8.5 Every Driver will get two car numbers assigned to him upon signing up. The first car number will be the car the driver has to pick in races 1 and 2. The second car number will be the car the driver has to pick in races 3 and 4.
4.2.1 If a driver is lapped or overtaken by the faster class he must not alter his line. He should stay on the racing line and should not alter his line right after the turn. The faster class has to find its way around the lapped car.
4.2.2 If a driver is lapped by the same class that he is in he must obey the blue flag and let the faster car through within 4 corners.
4.2.3 Drivers are allowed to unlap themselves. However, that may only be done if the lapped car is visibly faster and only if it is absolutely safe to do so. Drivers crashing a car that is laps ahead are subject to increased penalties. Should the lapped Driver (that unlapped himself moments before) not be able to pull away in the next few laps he has to give up the position again.
 
1.8.4 and 1.8.3 have been changed to support a reserve list.

1.8.3 Drivers have to inform the admins with a post in the forum about their absence 24h BEFORE the race. The admins reserve the right to exclude drivers from SRCA if they fail to do so.
1.8.4 SRCA offers 40 places each season. The first 40 sign ups are guaranteed to get a drive for the respective season. All further sign ups cannot be allowed to join the respective SRCA season.

new version:

Reserve drivers will be filled into free spots throughout the season and will be able to take over free spots after round 1 (see 1.8.3). The reserve drivers that sign up first get the first priority. There is no guarantee that a reserve driver will get the chance to gain license 4. Every sign up after the first 50 will not be allowed to compete in SRCA.
 
Rules have been updated. From Season 21 on every season of SRCA will consist of 2 races. Both of them have to be finished in order to be eligible for License 4.

1.8.1 In order to participate in SRCA drivers need to sign up for the series. This can be done by clicking on "series sign up" in the top bar and then clicking on SRCA. This only works if sign ups are open. Should anyone be unable to sign up he/she can ask a member of the forum to sign him/her up. In this case the SRCA administration MUST be asked BEFORE the sign up.
1.8.4 SRCA offers 45 places each season. The first 40 sign ups are guaranteed to get a drive for the respective season. The next 5 sign ups will be put on a reserve list. Reserve drivers will be filled into free spots only before Round 1 (see 1.8.3). The reserve drivers that sign up first get the first priority. There is no guarantee that a reserve driver will get the chance to gain license 4. Every sign up after the first 45 will not be allowed to compete in SRCA.


New versions:
1.8.1 In order to participate in SRCA drivers need to sign up for the series. This can be done by going to the main page ->Simracing.club Academy -> Sign Up. This only works if sign ups are open. Drivers have to sign up themselves. Every sign up done by a third person will be deleted without notification.
1.8.4 SRCA offers 45 places each season. One sign up can account for two or one season. Please refer to the sign up post (SRCA forum -> Sign Up) for further information on whether the respective sign up accounts for one or two seasons.
1.8.4a If the sign up accounts for two seasons 90 places will be offered. The first 40 sign ups are guaranteed to get a drive for the first season after the sign up, the next 40 are guaranteed to get a drive for the second season after the sign up. The next 10 sign ups will be put on a reserve list. Reserve drivers will be filled into free spots for only one season and only before Round 1 of each season. (see 1.8.3). The reserve drivers that sign up first get the highest priority. There is no guarantee that a reserve driver will get the chance to gain license 4. Every sign up after the first 90 will not be allowed to compete in SRCA. Exceptions may be announced in the sign up post.
1.8.4b If the sign up accounts for one season 45 places will be offered. The first 40 sign ups are guaranteed to get a drive for the respective season, the next 5 sign ups will be put on a reserve list. To adapt to VEC rules SRCA will now follow the same start procedure.
You may accelerate when YOU cross the S/F line. Rules have been updated.
